Leave Nairobi after lunch and drive out towards the Ngong Hills and the suburb of Karen named after Karen Blixen (Isak Dinesen) author of 'Out of Africa'. Here you will visit her home, overlooking the Ngong Hills, which is now a Museum. After time to walk around, drive a short distance to Kazuri Beads and watch the making of handmade jewelry. Move on to the Giraffe Centre which is the home of the Rothschild Giraffe (made famous in the book 'Saving Daisy Rothschild'). Here you will have a chance to feed the giraffe and watch a film about this species while enjoying tea. Return to Nairobi in the early evening at the end of your excursion. Departs daily at 1400hrs. Return will be around dusk at the end of your excursion.
