Safari Description: A safari adventure to look for Kenya’ main big cats-lion, cheetah, leopards etc. You start off with a night at a Tree hotel, in the Aberdare mountains, then travel north into the arid and dramatic Samburu Game Reserve, down into the Great Rift Valley to witness the spectacular bird life of Lake Baringo and other lakes and finally onto the rolling grasslands of the Masai Mara Game, famous for its wildlife especially the big cats.

Safari Itinerary...

Day 1:  Nairobi - Tree hotel
Drive north of Nairobi through smallholdings of the Kikuyu, Kenya's largest tribe, en route to your base hotel for lunch and then onto a Tree hotel for overnight-LD.

Day 2: Tree hotel - Samburu
Continue north across the Equator before losing altitude as you gently descend into Kenya's arid Northern Frontier District and travel on to Samburu Game Reserve for lunch, an afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight- BLD

Day 3:  Samburu
A full day game viewing to look for the 'big five' and the various species of game found, in Kenya, only in the northern parks-BLD

Day 4: Samburu- Lake Baringo
Drive across the Northern Frontier District to Lake Baringo, fresh water Rift Valley Lake, famous for its magnificent bird life. Stop enroute for a picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at a hotel on the Lakeshore-BLD

Day 5: Lake Baringo – Lake Nakuru
Continue across the floor of the Rift Valley to your hotel overlooking either Lake Nakuru, Elementaita or Naivasha for lunch, the afternoon, dinner and overnight-BLD.

Day 6: Great Rift Valley – Masai Mara
After breakfast depart for the Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch, an afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Masai Mara
Morning and afternoon game drives to search for some of the game unique to this park. Meals and overnight at your lodge/tented Camp-BLD

Day 8:  Masai Mara - Nairobi
After an early morning game drive and breakfast return to Nairobi arriving before lunch.
