AG 180: Lake Mburo National Park-2 days
Lake Mburo National Park is a compact gem, located conveniently close to the highway that connects Kampala to the parks of western Uganda. It is the smallest of Uganda’s savannah national parks and underlain by ancient Precambrian metamorphic rocks which date back more than 500 million years. It is home to 350 bird species as well as zebra, impala, eland, buffalo, oribi, Defassa waterbuck, leopard, hippo, hyena, topi and reedbuck.
Day 1: Kampala - lake Mburo
depart from Kampala for an extension of the Tanzanian plains with a variety of attractions, stopping for lunch en-route. Continue with a game drive en-route in search of zebra, eland antelope, hippos, crocodiles, impala and birds. After lunch, we set out on a guided walks around the park and crown off the afternoon with a boat ride on the lake. Overnight
Day 2: Kampala
The day begins with an early breakfast, have a game drive through the park, and return to Kampala at your own convenience. Lunch en-route
