Stone House Hotel is situated in the heart of the old Lamu Stone Town, just a short walk from Lamu's main street and waterfront.  It is one of the best preserved of Lamu's famous 18th century stone houses, and offers simple, clean accommodation in 10 self contained rooms and 4 with sharing bathrooms.  Rooms are decorated with typical Lamu style furniture, and mosquito nets and fans are provided.  The hotel has its own reliable water supply (no hot water). The rooftop restaurant offers views of the surrounding town which has changed little over the last 200 years.  There is still no motorized traffic and transportation is by donkey or sailing dhow.  The restaurant specializes in Swahili dishes and fresh fish and seafood.  No alcohol is available but cold soft drinks and freshly squeezed fruit juices are sold in the restaurant

 
Day 1: Nairobi - Lamu
Depart Nairobi – Wilson Airport on Air Kenya/Safari link flight at 1400hrs arriving Lamu at 1510hrs. On arrival, you are met and transferred to The Stone House Hotel in Lamu Town. Rest of the day you are free to enjoy the splendid Shella beach. We have dinner and overnight at the Hotel.

Day 2: Lamu
A full day in Lamu to visit the beach or Lamu Museum. All meals and overnight are had at the hotel.

Day 3: Lamu- Nairobi
Early lunch, then transfer to the Airstrip for you return flight to Nairobi at 1545hrs arriving at 1715hrs.
