A short way out of Nairobi lies the National Park. During the afternoon you will explore the whole area, possibly viewing a variety of plains game, maybe the lion and cheetah resident in the park and certainly enjoying the birdlife. You may see the buffalo near the forest or encounter a rhino during your drive. You will spend some time at the animal orphanage.
